I have been an official Unitarian Universalist since my Freshman year of College. No, I am not a Christian as I told someone today. They gave me an odd look. I have been a Transendentalist since my Junior year of High School. I attended Chathloic mass for about 2 years in College with Jennifer. It was fun. I actually miss mass with her.
I was raised as an "unchurched american". This gives me an unique perspective on the UU faith and other orgnized faiths in general.
Jennifer and I were members of the Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. This fellowship is in Appleton. Green Bay did not have a church with a minister. I always want to call the Fellowship a church, because that is what it is to me. Anyway, Green Bay's lack of minister is about to change and Jennifer and I have changed with it.
We are now attending the Green Bay Area UU Fellowship. It is different than Appleton; a change. We are both feeling very at home. I wasn't sure about a such a small fellowship, but I do like it. We started attending became members in Janjuary of 2005 and the fellowship called a minister in fall of 2005.
